Cole Thompson

Community Engagement Fellow

We are excited to introduce Cole Thompson as the newest member of the Community Foundation team! Cole, a proud Community Foundation scholarship recipient, who first joined us as an intern through Leadership Lorain County in the summer of 2021. He also completed a fellowship with the Nordson Corporation Foundation and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, gaining valuable experience in community engagement.

Now, as a Community Engagement Fellow, Cole will support the Community Foundation’s strategic priorities and year-end efforts.
Cole’s previous mentorship and community engagement work has strengthened his passion for community growth and unity. Raised in Oberlin, Cole is deeply connected to Lorain County and is eager to continue contributing to the community that shaped him. Cole reflected on his new role and said, “It’s exciting to work alongside organizations and partners who want to see Lorain County thrive.”

You can connect with Cole at one of our upcoming Neighbor Nights or at our office, where he is always ready to engage with the community and create a lasting impact.

Welcome back, Cole! We are thrilled to have you on the team as we continue our mission of connecting people who care with causes that matter.
