Our Mission and Purpose
Established in 2026, The LGBTQ+ Fund is committed to improving and promoting advocacy, inclusion, and educational opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community throughout Lorain County.
Our purpose:
- Support financially the activities of non-profit organizations that benefit the quality of life and progression of equity for the LGBTQ+ community in Lorain County.
- Exercise and promote LGBTQ+ leadership in meeting the changing needs and opportunities in the community.
- Improve the physical, economic, and educational conditions that affect the quality of life for LGBTQ+ individuals and families in Lorain County.
- Promote a better understanding of the LGBTQ+ community through education and training opportunities.
- Encourage organizations that benefit LGBTQ+ individuals and families in Lorain County to work cooperatively to achieve these goals.
