In 2023, our Board of Directors and staff adopted our commitment of pursing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging.

We are committed to ensuring a vibrant, just and equitable Lorain County that supports everyone. We will harness the diversity of our resources an intentionally listen, learn and respond to the needs of the community to advance Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging in our organization and grant making.

Racial Equity Fund

The Community Foundation of Lorain County, along with the Nordson Corporation Foundation, has developed the Racial Equity Fund to provide grants to organizations working to improve race relations and bring impactful changes. Grants will be made throughout the year as funds become available.
