Mindful Giving, Blessed Community

Happy Holidays!

As we approach year-end we are mindful of all of our supporters. It is our mission to connect you to the causes that matter most to you and to our communities, and that becomes so apparent this time of year.

We see everyday just how much you care. We see school teachers who donate a portion of each paycheck to the endowment for their school. We see family members who ask for donations to the Community Foundation in lieu of a gift for the holidays. We see loved ones who honor the memory of someone they have lost with a donation to support a cause that they championed.  

We are blessed to be part of such a caring community and thank you for your ongoing support.

And as you approach year end giving, please remember that the work of the Community Foundation of Lorain County continues. If you are 70 1/2 or “wiser,” you can roll money directly from your IRA to any 501 (c)(3) charity and skip the taxes and benefit your community.

We invite you to imagine the future possibilities with us as part of the Campaign for Emerging Opportunities raising flexible grant dollars that allow us to respond to community needs.
