Now through December 31st, 2017, gifts to unrestricted Endowment Funds supporting Lorain County will be matched!
John Corogin, donor, friend, and former Board Chair is matching donations $1 for $1 to the Campaign for Emerging Opportunities, with the goal to increase flexible grant dollars.
Matching dollars are only available for the next $30,000 in campaign gifts.
Unrestricted Endowment Funds provide grant dollars that can support any cause and are mobilized where they are most needed. Your gift ensures resilient, flexible grant dollars are there in perpetuity, no matter what opportunity or challenge may arise.

The Funds listed here are unrestricted and already allowing us to be creative and flexible in funding projects in the community. You can read more about those projects below.
To honor the intent of the donor who has generously provided matching funds for this campaign, only Endowment Funds classified as Unrestricted and that benefit Lorain County are eligible for a matching gift. Endowment Funds that are classified as Designated, Donor Advised, Field of Interest, pass-through, scholarship, and school endowments are not eligible for matching gifts at this time.
Touch the Future Fund has supported initiatives like a pilot program in Lorain County for interest free loans through the Hebrew Free Loan Association.
The MAJIC Fund has supported over $440,000 in grants since it was created in 2012. Grants support by the MAJIC Fund include the Road to Excellence collaboration for Lorain City Schools and the ONE Lorain County neighborhood engagement initiative.
The Brian R. Frederick Fund was created in honor of Brian’s leadership and legacy at the Community Foundation. It is unrestricted and gifts made to the Fund will build this endowment to support grants wherever they are most needed.
