African American Community Fund grant cycle now open

Grant Cycles Now Open

The African American Community Fund, an affiliate fund of Community Foundation of Lorain County, awards grants to improve the quality of life for African Americans of Lorain County. The Fund has a special interest in affecting the most disadvantaged in the community. They support tax-exempt, organizations, and public agencies within Lorain County, or in some cases organizations outside the county, whose projects directly impact African American Lorain County residents.

Once a year, the African American Community Fund awards grants to non-profit organizations that address fundamental community needs, problems, or opportunities in the areas of health, social services, education, arts, and civic or cultural affairs in the Black community.  The grant cycles closes on November 15 at 11:59 PM.
