$609,500 in Scholarships Awarded to 260 Students in 2025!

260 students across Lorain County are heading into their next chapter with something powerful at their backs: the support of our incredible community. Thanks to 65 dedicated scholarship funds, a total of $609,500 was awarded to help them take that step in their educational journey.

These scholarships mean so much more than just money. They mean fewer late-night worries about tuition bills. They mean saying yes to dream schools, to new opportunities, to the future they’ve worked so hard for. For some, they mean the chance to be the first in their family to go to college.

And behind every one of these awards? Dozens of community members who gave their time and care to read through hundreds of applications. They saw beyond the grades and test scores—they saw hopes, grit, and real stories. Their thoughtful decisions helped match students with the support they need to thrive.
