Elyria, OH, March 25, 2015 –
In celebration of our 35th anniversary this year, the Community Foundation of Lorain County is holding a contest to give away $35,000 to endowment funds of three non-profit organizations and three schools held at the Community Foundation. The contest runs from May 1st through May 31st, 2015. Winners will be announced at the Community Foundation’s Annual Meeting held on June 24th, 2015.
The groups that get their fans and friends to generate the most number of LIKES for their photo on the Community Foundation’s Facebook page will be ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. First place wins $10,000, 2nd $5,000, and 3rd $2,500 gifts to each respective endowment fund.
Twenty three school districts and over 80 non-profit groups in or serving Lorain County have endowment funds held at the Community Foundation. Organizational and school endowment funds help provide sustainable, permanent support for the organizations that they benefit.
