2026 Scholarship Celebration
Celebrating Student Achievement at the 2026 Scholarship Event
The Community Foundation of Lorain County hosted a scholarship celebration on June 12th to honor the local students receiving scholarships and scholarship renewals. In total, more than 300 awards, totaling $696,000 in scholarships from 66 scholarship funds, will be distributed for the 2026–2027 academic year through a competitive application process.
“We are thrilled to celebrate Lorain County students and look forward to seeing what they achieve in the next chapter of their academic careers. We thank our generous donors who, year after year, support scholarship programs that open the door to new opportunities across our county and beyond,” says Cynthia H. Andrews, President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Lorain County. “Their commitment not only invests in individual students, but also strengthens the future of our entire community.”
The Community Foundation hosted the celebration at its office, bringing together students, their families, donors, and scholarship evaluators for the special occasion.
