Great Grant Story -For several years, the Foundation has made grants to ideastream that fund programs that air on both WVIZ television and WCPN radio about healthy living. Our Board of Directors recently approved a grant of $10,000 to fund LifeGiving, a multimedia series focused on organ donation, transplantation, and the stories of both people who donate organs and those who are on the receiving end of transplants. This is an important series because 18 people waiting for a transplant die each day, and Ohio lags behind in people who are registered organ donors. To learn more, visit www.health.ideastream.org/health/entry/37612.  The Community Foundation is pleased to support the work of ideastream.
