With profound sadness, we must share the news that Community Foundation board member Pat Lindley was tragically killed in a car accident Saturday while on vacation in Nova Scotia. Pat was our Grants and Initiatives Committee chairperson along with many other community activities, and she will be sorely missed. Visitation for Pat will take place on Friday, September 17, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the First Congregational Church in Wellington. Services will commence at the church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 18. Memorials are to go to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH, 44035, or to the Main Street Wellington Endowment Fund in care of the Community Foundation. Please join us in keeping Pat’s loved ones close in thought and prayer.
