Susan Meier, VP of Consulting and Training at BoardSource will facilitate a free day-long workshop on February 11th based on the book "Governance as Leadership" by Richard Chait. Nonprofit Executive Directors/CEOs and Board Officers are encouraged to attend and will be led through discussion and team exercises to create practical tools that can be taken back to their respective boardrooms.
The workshop is underwritten by the Nord Family, Nordson Corporation, Stocker and Community Foundations as part of an effort to increase the impact of nonprofit boards by better preparing individuals to serve as board members. Ms. Meier's session is one of five included in the 2010 Basic and Advanced Governance Training Series offered by Leadership Lorain County.
