Day of Caring Project Nears Its End

Thank you to all who contributed books and toys to our Day of Caring project at LCADA's The Key shelter for women and children.  With your help, and with the help of the Remodeler's Council of the BIA, we turned a dusty, crowded storage room into a bright and airy space where moms can spend quality time with their infants and toddlers.  Bright green curtains and deep blue bookshelves along with cozy glider rockers and a kids' size table and chairs make the room a perfect space for the littlest residents of The Key.   Thanks, too, to the staff at The Key for being so flexible about our construction noise and comings and goings. Look for our final wrap-up next month.
