May 2^nd, 2009 will be The Women’s Fund Annual Friend/Fundraiser entitled “Power of the Purse."  This year’s event will be held at the Elyria Country Club and will feature a Fashion Presentation by Ms. Diane Camera who will speak on Forming Better Impressions.  There will be fantastic themed gift baskets that will be raffled off while enjoying a High Tea.

All proceeds from the “Power of the Purse” Tea and Fashion Event will once again benefit The Women’s Fund, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Lorain County.  The Women’s Fund Endowment provides funding for agencies and organizations and programs that assist the women and girls of our Lorain County.

Your $35 ticket will give you the opportunity to network with some interesting and caring women while having a beautiful Saturday High Tea and enjoying our speaker.  In addition, you may walk away with one of 15 fantastic gift baskets filled with an array of gifts and surprises!   At the same time knowing you are helping the women and girls of our county.
