Foundation Invites You to Walk a Mile in Another's Shoes

LINKS Program - Wednesday, October 3, 2007
Join The Community Foundation as we partner with Leadership Lorain County to engage in a jam-packed day full of insights into the lives of those who live among us and struggle to provide for themselves and their families. We will begin our day with an overview of the issues faced by Lorain County’s citizens in need. We will then participate alongside Leadership’s Class of 2008 in a Poverty Simulation where each of us will take on the role of a person in search of assistance.  Our morning will conclude with lunch and a panel addressing healthcare and how various local providers are working to fill in the gaps in our medical system.

If you cannot attend in the morning, please join us and the Leadership Class for lunch and our panel.  Just inform us when you RSVP of your attendance plans.
