Youth Fund Project
In her own words, Carolyn Reisdorff, new member of the Youth Fund Advisory Committee, tells about the grou's recent project packing care packages and customize bears for the families staying at the Haven Center, a homeless shelter in Lorain. The Committee will deliver the goodies in person when they have lunch with the Haven's residents at their November meeting.
Foundation Board Approves Grants
The Foundation's Board of Directors approved over $394,000 in competitive grants at its July 15 meeting. Agencies receiving grants include Oberlin Heritage Center, Lorain County Urban League, Lake Erie Nature and Science Center, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lorain County.
